A Beware! http://www.schoenstatt.org/en/services/virtual-retreat/  The theology is rather dangerous, speaking of “Christian groups”, as if they were all the same, (Catholic, protestants, etc???) For instance: “The essence of faith is not believing in certain truths or articles of faith, it is believing in a person, it is believing in a personal God.” (#38) This is NOT true; one must believe the “articles of Faith” of the Creed, and all the others; one at least believes implicitly all the others by believing “all what the Catholic Church teaches” (not necessarily any Catholic “man of the church”, but the Church herself, through her Fathers, Doctors, holy popes and Saints = Traditional teaching).

In other words, faith = to believe the TRUTHS taught by our Lord Jesus Christ, and transmitted in the Church He founded. This faith makes us adhere to God as the First Truth, God is indeed a personal God. But it would be completely false to think one can adhere to the personal God, and yet believe anything... One can ONLY adhere truly to the One true God, Father Son and Holy Ghost, if one believes "all what the Catholic Church believes and teaches". If one rejects some articles of the Catholic Faith, one has lost the Faith and deceives oneself by thinking he has a "personal relation with the Personal God."

Many people do deceive themselves...
